Moving On

Do you still hold on when he says enough?

You don't. And you know there's only one thing left for you to do. Move on.

What does it really mean?

It's more than seeing them and feeling nothing anymore. It's more than being okay after all the pain. It's more than being able to say "I'm fine" after crying buckets of tears.

Moving on is a process. And it usually starts with a tear. It is not a single day without crying just on the thought of him. It's truly more than that.

Moving on also starts with a choice whether you're going to let him go for good or you're going to keep on hanging on even though you know it's killing you.

How do you exactly move on?

Time heals all wounds, that much I can say.

But after all the hardships of moving on, when you can talk about them and to them without crying, when you can actually mean it if you say you're happy about them finding someone new, then congratulations. You've moved on.

In the end, after all the tears, you'll wake up feeling fresh and brand new. You'll find out you're already really okay. You'll find out you're ready to start over and love again.
