A/N: I know this isn't really a story. I came up with this poem out of the blue and I decided to put it up :)

P.S. Daniella Javilles, I know you root for Jacob rather than Trace for Bree. ;) This one's for you.

Jacob Andrei's P.O.V.

There she goes perfectly
Laughing with her friends, looking so happy.
And here I am, thinking helplessly,
How could I love such a beauty?

Everything about it is so wrong
But she's the one who makes me strong.
Still, she's my best friend
And I very well know how these tragic stories end.

She's like a ray of sunshine in a darkened hall
And a smile as beautiful as a nightingale's call.
How I wish I could've gotten to choose
To have just fallen for any other muse.

But no, God didn't let me
He destined me to fall for my dear Bree
He wanted me to tell her I loved her
That I loved her from the very first day

How could I every convey the feelings inside?
Feelings that I can't even describe?
I couldn't bear to lose this friendship we shared
So, tell her? I never even dared.

But one summer night, God pushed me to do so
To tell her I love her, to let her know.
What could I even do?
So I followed Him and said, "Bree, I love you."

She stared at me with those eyes.
Probably contemplating whether I was telling lies.
I swear I was in complete misery.
Knowing everything was destroyed between Brianna and me.

But she smiled at me and breathed the words I longed to hear
"I've loved you, too. I've loved you since that first year."
The world froze and my heart fluttered in glee
I couldn't believe every word she said to me.

Seeing this, she decided to kiss me
Then on, nothing else mattered but my Bree.
Also, I've learned that she was a risk worth taking,
a pain worth aching and a future worth facing.
